How do I prepare my thesis for JCU ePrints?What is Adobe Distiller software?Adobe Distiller comes as part of the Adobe Acrobat suite. It converts documents in other formats (e.g. Word or Excel) to pdf (Portable Document Format). The appearance of the original document will be preserved. Where can I access the software?More information about Adobe Acrobat software is available from the Adobe web page. Why use Adobe?Adobe Acrobat was chosen as the format, as it is capable of being read on a wide range of operating systems, preserves the appearance of the original word-processed document (from which it can be made relatively easily), and is readable by Adobe Reader software, which is freely downloadable from the Web. How should I label my pdf files when I submit them?You must conform to the approved Australian Digital Thesis Program filename standard File sizes should be kept as small as possible.
