Abstract

Bartonella henselae, the causative agent of cat-scratch disease, has been recognized as an important aetiologic cause of culture negative endocarditis.1 To our knowledge, no cases have been reported from Australia. We present here a case of B. henselae infective endocarditis acquired in northern Australia.
