Abstract

In this “groundbreaking work”, Jessica Pierce and Andrew Jameton attempt to address the many links between environmental decline and human health. Their assertion that we must strive towards a sustainable and equitable global provision of useful health care is already recognised. Their thesis is that bioethics should take on the task of defining limits on consumption to benefit nature.
