The gender divide: women, sport and the law

Abstract

Sports law effectively involves all areas of the law being applied to the sporting context, and thus it is equally applicable to men's and women's sport. But discrimination, cases involving drugs in sport, and specifically the Joanna Stone taxation case have all impacted the application of selected areas of the law in relation to women's sport.
