Abstract
Cylindrosympodium cryptocaryae, sp. nov. is described from decaying leaves of Cryptocarya mackinnoniana F. Muell. collected in north Queensland and from axenic culture. Keys to several similar genera and to the seven species of Cylindrosympodium are provided.
