Abstract
Tagiades nestus krela Mabille is rediscovered in Torres Strait, Queensland, after almost 100 years. A breeding population is recorded on Dauan Island in northern Torres Strait, feeding on climbing yam vines, Dioscorea sp. (Dioscoraceae).
