Abstract
This review paper gives a detailed introduction to the basic structure and research progress of the heat-pipe-type evacuated tubes and solar collectors in China, in particular the CPC heat-pipe-type evacuated tubes solar collectors. The paper also makes a classification of the applications of heat-pipe-type evacuated tubes solar collectors under various conditions. Finally, the paper identifies that heat-pipe-type evacuated tubes solar collectors and the solar heat-collecting systems that are combined with buildings will be the important development direction for the utilization of solar water heating systems in the future.
