Abstract
In 2009, the postconference symposium of the 35th annual meeting of the International Embryo Transfer Society targeted a critical topic for presentation and discussion, entitled "The Implementation of Artificial Insemination in Companion Animals, Non-Domestic, and Endangered Species" (CANDES). This paper presents a summary of the state of artificial insemination (AI) in CANDES as discussed by participants during the postconference symposium, including invited speakers, CANDES subcommittee co-chairs, and general members of the audience.
