Abstract
Greater uptake by patients for services provided by nurses and allied health under chronic disease management Medicare item numbers, research shows. The Medicare Chronic Disease Management Allied Health program, which enables patients to receive subsidised allied health professional (AHP) services in private clinics, is in its sixth year of operation.
