Abstract

[Extract] It could be music to the ears of the forgetful with researchers finding musical training improves memory.

James Cook University psychology lecturer Agnes Au has confirmed a link between musical ability and memory.

Now she plans to investigate the link in highly trained musicians and is calling for volunteers for the new study.
