Abstract

[Extract] This is a special issue for me and, I hope, for you too. Thirty years ago, Michael White was the founding editor for the Australian Journal of Family Therapy which later on became the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Family Therapy. Obviously the founding of the journal was not a single-person effort, as there were many others involved and most are now well known on the Australian and international family therapy stage. But, I think it is fair to say that Michael White has been one of the most influential Australian therapists in family therapy around the world.
