Abstract

[Extract] Wiwanitkit makes three interesting observations, each from different studies or papers. The two papers from the Queensland Social Science Survey reported separate studies with different questions. Both took advantage of the same state-wide survey mechanism, but otherwise they cannot be directly compared. Leggat and colleagues studied travel during pandemic(H1N1) 2009 and indeed found that the majority of Queensland travelers surveyed reported that they would not postpone their own travel, even if they had symptoms that could have been pandemic (H1N1) 2009.
