Internet resources for head lice

Abstract

[Extract] There is a wealth of information on the web about head lice, but much of it is non-authoritative and contains inaccurate or non-original material. Medical, health nnd university websites abound on the internet, and many of them display head lice information. Unfortunately, most of them obtain their so-called facts with little discretion from a wide range of sources which results in them providing inaccurate, misleading and myth-based information. None are listed here because all of the sites surveyed contained misleading errors or gross omissions.
