Abstract

An elasto-plastic model of prepared sugar cane is presented based on characterization of the solid phase of the porous media with porous elasticity and crushable foam plasticity. The proposed mathematical model is verified and applied to dewatering analysis. The available numerical analysis results are compared with experiment data and excellent agreement is obtained.
