Abstract

[Extract] This paper discusses a series of interdisciplinary fieldwork supervision workshops that were developed and delivered in 2000/2001 in a number of centres in Queensland. Workshops were held in Townsville, Mt Isa and Cairns (two). While held in relatively large provincial cities, all workshops attracted participants from small rural and remote towns iin the region. The workshops targeted supervisors of James Cook University (JCU) students in rural areas.
