Abstract

This book began as a thoughts scribbled on to a scrap of paper, became a series of recorded interviews, and evolved into a set of drafted viewpoints. These were then appraised and reappraised until all authors were satisfied that they had communicated their voices effectively. Thus, it made the journey from the idea to the realisation of the idea. In so doing, it paralleled a process of art making and appraisal adopted by many arts educators in schools.
