Abstract
Clinical Skills for Enrolled/Division 2 Nurses is a clinical skills text and workbook designed specifically for use by Enrolled Nursing students throughout Australia. Written to match the 2009 HLT07 Training Package requirements, each skill matches the relevant competency as set out by the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council in the ANMC National Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse (2002).
The text clearly and succinctly explains each key clinical skill and provides a structured format for students to undertake many of the skills taught in HLT43407 Certificate IV in Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing) and HLT51607 Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing). Using this text, students and instructors are able to translate their skills and knowledge into demonstrable competencies that fulfil the required standards.
